Breaking and Entering - TV Pilot

Breaking and entering is a comedy tv pilot, directed by Heather Spilkin.

One thing I loved about this project is that it is a comedy. I usually tend to do dramatic and/or emotionally heavy projects, and I was eager to do something more light hearted and more fun to shoot, in order to explore a different style.

But also I discovered a very personal, funny yet vulnerable side of Heather, the Director. She definitely has a very personal view on the world, which I appreciate from a director, and I try to do my best to convey it on the screen.
We wanted something super clean, Wes Anderson kind of clinically framed, all white for Tilda the main character and more colored/warm for Cleo. We had so much fun with Heather and the set designer Cristina Agostini-Fitch to make these two worlds -- specifically the all white one -- and with my team to make sure there wasn’t one shadow, which was a much appreciated challenge.

It is one of the most fun shoots I’ve worked on, I should do comedies more often.

The synopsis: An uptight personal organizer goes to battle with an unhinged millennial lifestyle guru
in a mad competition to offer their clients the most life-changing decluttering
experience.
